Lufthansa Global Business Services (LGBS) operates as an international organization with a worldwide delivery structure providing business services in the areas of Finance, HR, Revenue Accounting, Management Reporting and Procurement for entire Lufthansa Group.

Krakow Center is the main hub for the delivery organization including also central functions for the group companies covering both standard as well as customized processes for airline business. Besides operations, Krakow Center has also teams specialized in Process Management, Migration Support, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience in the IT design and management of IT processes, relevant experience in the application of process automation, IT tools harmonization and development
• Project Management experience
• Experience in process optimizations, standardization, automation, development as an asset; preferably in  Finance IT
• Very good command of English
• High innovation and control talent
• Persuasiveness and assertiveness
• Ability and willingness to adapt one's own strategies, goals and tasks to changing situations
• Ability to represent the company externally and internally, entrepreneurial thinking
• International travel required (20%-60%)

Responsibilities:

You will enhance and optimize Finance (Revenue Accounting) Processes with strong emphasis on IT development. Based on your knowledge and experience, you will design and advance IT changes. Your responsibility will include the development of consistent approaches to optimize, standardize, automatize, and harmonize Finance (Revenue Accounting) Processes employing mainly IT tools and IT development techniques. As a result, the defined concepts have to be evolved into specifications for IT and operations that account for the Lufthansa group optimum.

• Development and documentation of Lufthansa group wide processes as part of Revenue Accounting with IT focus on Refund processes
• Support of Lufthansa group wide IT tool harmonization and consolidation for Refund processes; definition of functional demands on Revenue Accounting IT and interfaces
• Definition of Refund process targets and refund KPIs in cooperation with internal and external entities 
•   Definition of service provider strategies
• Optimization of Lufthansa group wide Refund processes and procedures; initiating, impelling, implementing, innovation and development of Revenue Accounting processes (IT and non-IT)
• Problem analysis and development of measures for Refund process adjustments (IT and non-IT)
• Management of Refund process risks and development of risk minimizing measures
• Involvement in budget planning (cost and revenue) 
• Prioritizing and support of changes and developments of Refund services (IT and non-IT)
• Negotiation with internal and external customers as well as service providers
